Our Branding & Website Redesign:

Our team recently updated our logo, branding, and website design! While the previous logo had served us well for years, it was starting to feel overly whimsical, failing to reflect the growth of Your Admin BFF’s team and increased capabilities.

Style Needs

Several key parameters for the new logo and brand style were decided by Owner & Founder Suzi King at the outset of the rebranding project.

First, a clean and airy style was necessary. Partly for its aesthetic appeal and also to make it easier to display our portfolio of wide-ranging client designs without any of them competing or clashing with our own branding.

A spiffy and professional feminine feel was also desired, which led to us choosing a pastel color pallete to complement the primary black-and-white colors of the logo. The colors also reflect our previous branding colors, but are more muted and subtle to allow them to fade into the background where necessary.

We also updating our fonts, choosing a professional-feeling serif font for the headings and body text of our website. A single style of sans-serif font was retained to be used for meta text and on buttons, and a fun handwritten font was used for the logo and on site accents to help provide a splash of personality and whimsy to the branding.

The Website Build

Once a logo, fonts, and colors had been chosen it was time to begin the website build.

One of the primary needs for the updated website was that it better reflect all the facets of our services. The previous website had struggled to advertise both our website design services and our virtual assistant services, with the former often overshading the latter. 

By completely redesigning the layout of the home page, we were able to instantly and easily display all the categories of our services, making the website much simpler and more intuitive to navigate.
